ABRA Auto Body & Glass Adds Colorado Springs Repair Center

Minneapolis, Minn.-based ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced the opening of its second repair center in Colorado Springs, Colo. The newly constructed ABRA-Colorado Springs North, located at 5750 East Woodmen Road, brings the total number of ABRA repair centers to 93 in 11 states. When fully staffed, ABRA-Colorado Springs North will employ 15 full-time employees.

“We chose this location because of the exploding population growth in the Colorado Springs area,” ABRA Executive Vice President Tim Adelmann said. “Our insurance partners and ABRA recognized the need to offer excellent collision repair service to these residents.”

ABRA named John Whitaker general manager of ABRA-Colorado Springs North. Whitaker joined ABRA in 2001 as a customer service representative for ABRA-Littleton. Since that time, he has been promoted to customer service manager, and most recently served as production manager at ABRA-Highlands Ranch.

ABRA, which opened its first two Colorado locations in 1997, now has 14 centers in the Denver and Colorado Springs areas.

“ABRA is committed to expansion in Colorado, and this location will continue to provide our customers with the best possible collision repair experience,” Adelmann said.
