ABRA Auto Body & Glass Continues Chicago Area Expansion

ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced it has expanded again in the Chicago area with the acquisition of Auto Werks of Northbrook Inc. in Illinois – about an hour northwest of downtown Chicago. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to ABRA, the growth in Illinois and around Chicago in recent months is part of its aggressive and ongoing strategy to increase its national footprint.

“We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and the track record we’ve built since entering the market a few months ago,” said ABRA President and CEO Duane Rouse. “We’re excited to expand our presence further and look forward to more growth in the future.”

Added ABRA Executive Vice President of Business Development Tim Adelmann, “Offering our customers more options while maintaining our superior processes and operational excellence is what ABRA is
all about. We have lots of momentum and are delighted to be expanding in the region.”

ABRA’s portfolio now stands at 245 repair centers in 19 states.
