ABRA Auto Body & Glass Opens 107th Facility

Minneapolis-based ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced the opening of its 107th facility on April 26. Located in Chattanooga, Tenn., this is the fourth ABRA franchise awarded to Nelson Bowers II in the greater Chattanooga area.

Mark Wahlin, vice president of franchise development and operations, commented on ABRA’s decision to award another franchise to Bowers: “We’re very happy with the success of Nelson’s franchises in Chattanooga, Cleveland and Hixson. This success can be attributed to their team’s in-depth knowledge of the damaged vehicle repair industry, and their emphasis on integrity. Their professional staff and leadership fit perfectly with our corporate philosophy, and we feel confident that the new Chattanooga location will perform up to the high standards expected of all ABRA centers.”

ABRA says the 25,000-square-foot repair center, located at 2120 Chapman Road, is outfitted with state-of-the art equipment, including a Car-O-Liner rack and measuring system and a Garmat paint booth.

When asked of his decision to open an additional ABRA franchise, Bowers commented, “Our affiliation with ABRA has been very rewarding, primarily because of their commitment to superior service and excellent craftsmanship. The procedures, training and marketing support provided by their corporate staff allow us to deliver industry-leading levels of efficiency and quality. Our goal has always been to open additional ABRA facilities within the Chattanooga area in order to capture the largest market share in this area.”
