Accuspray Product Line Renamed 3M Spray Equipment

3M’s Accuspray line – a series of high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) spray guns – has been renamed 3M Spray Equipment. 3M acquired Accuspray spray guns with Accuspray Application Technologies Inc. last year and now offers the spray guns through 3M distribution channels. The entire line of spray guns acquired from Accuspray will remain
available, including the Series 07 and Series 07HS HVLP gravity spray
guns.

“We want to make the ordering process easier,” said Christie Vitale, market supervisor for 3M Spray Equipment products. “As of July 1, in conjunction with the 3M Spray Equipment name change, shops will be able to order 3M Spray Equipment through standard 3M distribution channels. This creates the one-stop-shop that auto body shops have been requesting from 3M.”

3M Spray Equipment corresponds with 3M’s core Paint Preparation System, which replaces traditional mixing cups and filters and reduces the amount of solvent required for gun cleaning, helping to reduce paint materials, cleaning solvents and waste disposal costs.
