AirPro Diagnostics, I-CAR/SCRS Video: Dealerships Might Not Always be Prepared for ADAS Recalibration

Collision repairers might need to prepare for the possibility that even an OEM-affiliated dealership isn’t completely prepared for recalibrations of ADAS.

According to I-CAR, the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and AirPro Diagnostics, most dealerships might not be prepared for advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) recalibrations. This was explained in a video recently released by SCRS and I-CAR.

Collision repairers might need to prepare for the possibility that even an OEM-affiliated dealership isn’t completely prepared for recalibrations of ADAS, experts suggested at the Collision Industry Conference on Jan. 18.

AirPro Diagnostics states that repairers can keep repairs in-house, reduce cycle time and make scanning, recalibrations and programming a profit center at their shops by utilizing the AirPro Level 2 Platinum Diagnosticians for recalibrations and programming.
