AkzoNobel Acoat Selected Verified Repair Network Links with I-CAR Gold Class Program

The AkzoNobel Acoat selected Verified Repair Network (ASVRN) has become the first collision repair industry search engine to display the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals emblem, AkzoNobel announced. Facilities that have achieved the I-CAR Gold Class Professional designation and also participate in the ASVRN program will have the Gold Class Professionals emblem appear next to their facility information in search results.

“Highlighting a repair facility’s I-CAR Gold Class Professionals designation is a strong
recognition of these facilities’ dedication to training on the latest repair techniques demanded by modern vehicles,” said Joyce Kasmer, I-CAR director of marketing. “We would like to thank the Acoat selected Verified Repair Network for their support and recognition of these repair facilities’ investment in their people.”

The ASVRN Shop Locator is available at www.verifiedrepair.net. The ASVRN Web site is designed to:

• assist vehicle owners in finding quality auto body shops for auto collision repair;

• provide insurance professionals and fleet administrators a reliable source for quality
collision repair businesses; and

• provide collision center operators access to tools for their auto collision repair business.

“The I-CAR Gold Class Professionals designation is one of the most highly recognized and respected standards of technical achievement in our industry,” said Tim Loden, AkzoNobel Car Refinishes director of marketing. “Being the first industry search engine provider to highlight this designation for our customers is a reflection of our most key value…we always attempt to focus on our customer’s future first.”
