AkzoNobel and NuGen IT Give Non-DRP Shops an ‘In’ With Insurers

AkzoNobel Car Refinishes Americas recently made an e-commerce business agreement with NuGen IT, enabling collision repair centers that are part of the Sikkens Acoat selected Verified Repair Network (ASVRN) to be identified to insurance companies making out-of-network repair assignments. The assignment  is done through the NuGen IT Web-based software application, “Non-Network Portal Plus” (NNP+).

“Shops want business, consumers want seamless service, and insurance companies want the most reliable repair options for their policy holders no matter where those policy holders reside,” said Tim Loden, director of marketing for AkzoNobel Car Refinishes Americas. “NuGen IT has developed a sustainable solution that gives insurance companies an efficient way to exchange claims data with non-DRP shops.”
