AkzoNobel announced the appointment of Nancy Ng to the position of strategic accounts manager for the Canadian market.
“Nancy Ng has very quickly established herself as a knowledgeable and energetic leader in the collision repair industry,” said David Smith, country manager for AkzoNobel Car Refinishes in Canada. “Nancy has a proven depth of perspective that comes from both running her own business and being part of larger corporate environments. It is this breadth of experience that enables her to easily relate to the varied spectrums and dynamic nature of the collision repair industry.”
Ng began her career in the field of finance. She transitioned into sales within the arenas of publishing and advertising. Most recently, she has been active in managing and growing relationships between members of the insurance and collision repair industries.
Ng is also a contributor to the industry at large as an avid proponent for diversity and the advancement of women within the collision repair industry. She is a board member of the Women’s Industry Network, a mentoring organization for women currently participating or desiring to enter the collision repair segment of the automotive industry. She will graduate this fall from the Autmotive Management Institute as an Accredited Automotive Manager.
