AkzoNobel Completes Third Phase of New Color Tools Suite

AkzoNobel has completed Mixit Pro, the third phase of its newest suite of color tools for the collision repair industry. When connected to the Internet, Mixit Pro will synchronize to download the most current available updates of formulas and software.

In addition to basic formula retrieval, Mixit Pro includes a range of process-driven functions, which include assigning multiple work orders to a single mix, pausing and resuming a mix, inventory management and reporting of materials cost per job.

Mixit-Pro is the most recent software formula retrieval component in the series of Sikkens color tools. The tool suite also includes Colorscala Pro, variant selection swatches, and Automatchic III, color checking device.

“Every component of our suite of products is designed to enable our customers to serve their own customers by providing the best color match in the industry,” said Tom Star, Manager of Color Services for North America.
