AkzoNobel has released Sikkens Mixit Pro, a new software package for the retrieval of color data.
When connected to the Internet, collision repair centers can synchronize their databases with AkzoNobel’s master database and download the most current formula updates and software. In addition to the core formula retrieval, Sikkens Mixit Pro delivers a range of process-driven functions including assigning multiple work orders to a single mix, pausing and resuming a mix, and reporting cost of materials on a per-job basis. An inventory management tool is also part of Mixit Pro.
“It’s all about bringing sustainable solutions for color, speed and accuracy,” said Tim Loden, director of marketing for AkzoNobel Car Refinishes Americas. “Mixit Pro, along with the rest of our extensive suite of color tools, were designed knowing that there is a user at the other end that needs to please a waiting customer.”
