AkzoNobel’s Wanda Brand Launches Mobile Website

Site aims to maximize user access to Wanda products and technical information.

AkzoNobel’s Wanda brand has announced the launch of its new mobile website. The company says the site aims to maximize user access to Wanda products and technical information, color look-up, brand news, event pictures and updates, blogs, environmental information and distributor locations.

“Over the last couple of years, we’ve seen a significant increase in collision repair professionals wanting to use their mobile devices to gain information about Wanda brand products,” said Mark Rapson, AkzoNobel’s manager of trade brands North America. “As a result, we’ve developed a mobile site that goes way beyond the normal mobile Web experience in functionality, speed, ease of navigation, information content and high level graphics.”

Compatible with Apple, Android and other mobile devices, the Wanda mobile website has been designed with leading technology to provide a highly functional site that looks and feels like an app. The mobile site automatically loads when users search “www.wandarefinish.us” or “wandarefinish.com” and choose either the Canada or U.S. option. It can then be bookmarked to the phone’s home screen.

With a quick click, all Wanda product MSDS and Technical Data Sheets can be downloaded as PDFs right to the phone’s home screen in English, Spanish or French. Other features include environmental regulations and VOC charts for all territories in the U.S. and Canada, Wanda’s color tools and color documentation, as well as the iMatch Color Retrieval icon that can be downloaded to the phone’s home screen for instant access to car color searches and paint mixing information. Users will also find a distributor locator and information on becoming a Wanda distributor.
