Alliance of Automotive Service Providers Selects Summit’s Digital Marketing Platform as Member Benefit

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) and Summit Mobile Solutions announced today that Help I Crashed My Car – the collision industry’s customer service, sales, marketing, advertising, communication and digital marketing platform – is now available to all AASP affiliates and members as a special member benefit.

According to Summit, Help I Crashed My Car will allow all AASP members to implement a digital marketing system that includes integration with several mobile phone apps and an Internet-based solution that improves their customer service and communications capabilities while adding new sales, marketing and advertising tools and technologies to their businesses. Members also receive a special, discounted price off the Help I Crashed My Car subscription.

“The Help I Crashed My Car platform can actually be instrumental in putting our members at the scene of an accident and in communication with their customers before anyone, including the police, tow truck driver, insurance agent or the insurer,” said AASP President Rick Starbard. “Help I Crashed My Car also provides our members with a sales, marketing, advertising and communications platform that will allow them to incorporate 21st century digital marketing tools into their marketing plans and strategies.”

Frank Terlep, CEO of Summit Software and Mobile Solutions, added, “The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers understands that its members need and want new and better ways to deliver customer service and communications to a new generation of consumers. AASP also understands that for its members to continue to be successful today and into the future, they need new and innovative sales, marketing and advertising tools and technologies. Help I Crashed My Car delivers all of this and more.”

Terlep continued, “Help I Crashed My Car’s patent-pending digital marketing platform is designed to help drive new business to AASP member shops by providing them with immediate notifications from customers when they are in an accident. This unique, one-of-a kind solution enables AASP members to receive a first notice of loss directly from consumers, including a map and location of the accident. Help I Crashed My Car will provide AASP members with increased sales opportunities, new marketing and advertising channels, and increased customer retention and satisfaction.”

AASP members that subscribe to the Help I Crashed My Car platform also receive MarketPlace, a Web-based application that directly connects with the consumer’s mobile device and receives access to accident notifications, as well as customer e-mail and mobile phone information that can be used for e-mail, text and social media marketing campaigns.

AASP members can provide an unlimited number of phone applications to previous and potential customers, local dealerships, schools, local businesses and insurance agents. They also can set the system to provide them with information on any consumers that have downloaded the application within certain zip codes for ad hoc and automated advertising campaigns via e-mail and text.
