Allstate Names New Auto Director for Claim Organization

Allstate recently announced that Randy Hanson has been named auto director of Allstate’s claim organization. Hanson previously served as a senior manager within claims and brings 30 years of experience to his new role.

Hanson has held various leadership roles within Allstate, including property claim manager, staff claim analyst and senior manager of the Priority Repair Option (PRO) program. Most recently, he was part of Allstate’s new claim processing software application. Specifically, he helped develop Allstate’s Open Platform Shop Application for the Priority Repair Option program. Allstate says this new technology creates a more flexible estimating communication and reporting platform.

“Randy’s broad industry experience and perspective makes him uniquely qualified for this position,” said Bill Daly, Allstate auto assistant vice president.

Hanson currently serves on the CIECA board, and has served as treasurer for the Illinois Anti-car Theft (I-ACT) committee and as a liaison in various insurance/collision industry committees.

Hanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Waldren University. He earned his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1986.
