Annual I-CAR Education Foundation Golf Tournament Slated for July in Chicago

The ninth annual I-CAR Education Foundation golf tournament fundraiser will take place July 22 in the Chicago area during the Collision Industry Conference (CIC)/industry meetings week.

Golfers will enjoy an afternoon at the AAA Four Diamond award-winning Eaglewood Golf Resort in Itasca, Ill., followed by a post-tournament reception at TopGolf in Wood Dale, Ill., one of only three facilities in the country. An anticipated sold-out crowd of 150 automotive professionals from North America and the Chicago area is expected.

“The industry showed its strong support for the fundraiser in 2009, which was the highest grossing foundation golf tournament to date,” said I-CAR Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger. “With the 2010 tournament taking place in our backyard, we will be doing all that we can to match and surpass last year’s results. This is possible only through the generous support of our participants and sponsors. With the addition of the TopGolf post-tournament reception, this event is family friendly while raising additional funds for a worthwhile cause, the future of the industry.”

This event is open to all industry professionals and is not limited to those attending CIC and other industry meetings that week in Chicago. Industry professionals, members and their families are encouraged to participate in this event.
