ASA Announces New Publication Dates, Expanded Business Hours for Summer

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced that its biweekly e-newsletter, ASA News-Network, will move to a publishing schedule of every other Tuesday. Subscribers will see the next edition in their e-mail boxes on Tuesday, June 17.

In addition, ASA’s national office is expanding its hours of operation Monday through Thursday during the summer months. This adjustment is being implemented on a trial basis, which will allow the association to better serve members in various time zones while exploring the potential energy savings of a four-day workweek.

During the trial period, expanded business hours with direct access to ASA’s member services will be 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Central Daylight Time (CDT), Monday through Thursday.

Nationwide, there has been an increase in the number of companies proposing and/or implementing similar plans. ASA will measure its level of success during this trial period based on the association’s core focus – a continuing commitment to serving its members. The trial period will begin June 16, and regular office hours are scheduled to resume Sept. 2.
