Darrell Amberson, AAM, Automotive Service Association (ASA) chairman and vice president of operations for LaMettry’s Collision, recently presented industry veteran Bill Sauer with an American flag and a letter of recognition for his contributions to the automotive industry. Sauer is co-founder of Identifix, a longtime sponsored benefit provider for ASA members.

The flag was previously flown over the U.S. Capitol by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) in honor of Sauer.

“Bill’s friendship and support of ASA and its members has been invaluable,” said Amberson. “His passion for automotive repair has helped to increase the standard of professionalism across the entire industry. It was our privilege to recognize him for his lifetime of achievement.”
