ASA Swears in New Board at Annual Business Meeting

Organization also discussed initiatives for 2014, which include the purchase of a new headquarters building, enhancement of legislative efforts, elevation of member involvement and enhancement of training resources.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) held its annual business meeting Thursday, March 6 at the Sheraton Overland Park near Kansas City, Kan. “The board has worked very hard to move the association forward while supporting our membership and the industry. The board shared some of its goals for the association this year, which include:

  • Purchase a new headquarters building
  • Enhance legislative efforts, including strengthening the ASA PAC and more involvement in insurance regulation
  • Elevate member involvement and inspire individuals to consider association leadership Grow membership and continue to work closely with affiliated associations
  • Enhance ASA’s training resources
