Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) and CCC Information Services Inc. have announced the availability of free private meeting rooms to any ASRW 2011 participant (either attendee or exhibitor) who requests one.
ASRW, comprised of the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS), will take place Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
The complimentary meeting rooms will be located immediately outside the ASRW Expo show floor in an area named, "The NACE Network – the ONE place to meet." The area will consist of 11 small-to-large private rooms equipped with comfortable furnishings, wireless Internet, and a plasma flatscreen or screen projector equipped with a laptop connection.
"We know a lot of meetings take place during ASRW, both on and off the show floor. To better accommodate all of the business that’s going on this week, CCC Information Services is helping us create this unique new area where everyone can feel comfortable to meet," said ASA President Ron Pyle. "It’s close to the show floor, but not on the show floor. It’s easy. It’s free. We anticipate it to be a bustling area in the lobby during the show and encourage any and all participants of ASRW to take advantage of it."
The NACE Network will be available Oct 5-8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Reservations are made on a first-come first-serve basis by completing a form that can be found on the NACE or CARS websites. Each room can be reserved for up to 90 minutes.
"Meeting space at our industry events can be hard to come by, creating obstacles to the business conversations and networking that we’ve all come together to do," said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of the Automotive Service Group at CCC. "’The NACE Network’ space is being created to better support the important business conversations and networking that define ASRW. Easier communication through a single location is what CCC ONE is all about, which makes this partnership with ASRW a natural extension of what CCC wants to do with and for the industry."
Others planning to attend ASRW are pleased as well: "This is a great idea," said Tim O’Day, president and COO, Gerber Collision & Glass. "It’s definitely going to help our team be more productive at NACE this year. I’d like to thank ASRW and CCC in advance for doing this."
Additional sponsorship of the NACE Network is provided by Panasonic Solutions Company.
