Atlas Copco Compressors Extends Partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing

Company will be associate sponsor of Ryan Newman's No. 39 Quicken Loans Chevrolet SS for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

As part of the celebration of its 140th anniversary, Atlas Copco Compressors has extended its partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing and will be an associate sponsor of Ryan Newman’s No. 39 Quicken Loans Chevrolet SS for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The race will take place Oct. 12 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“Atlas Copco Compressors has enjoyed an exceptional partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing since 2007, both as a compressed air provider and a sponsor,” said Paul Humphreys, vice president of communications and branding for Atlas Copco.

The Stewart-Haas Racing headquarters in Kannapolis, N.C., will be outfitted with Atlas Copco’s new SmartLink technology as part of the continued relationship. The new technology provides 24/7 remote monitoring of the team’s compressed air system to ensure continuous uptime and peak performance.

Augmenting Atlas Copco’s role with Stewart-Haas Racing is an internal promotion where Atlas Copco employees will have the opportunity to win their name printed on Newman’s car along with the Atlas Copco logo.

“Putting an employee’s name on Ryan Newman’s No. 39 Quicken Loans Chevrolet is another way for us to honor our people during our 140th anniversary,” said Humphreys. “Our people are the key to our success, and we’re excited about acknowledging this fact in front of millions of race fans.”
