Atlas Copco Compressors Names John Wozniak Western Region Vice-President

Atlas Copco Compressors has appointed John Wozniak general manager/vice president west region U.S.A. He begins his new position May 1.

Wozniak joined Atlas Copco in 2003 as the Chicago customer center manager. He was appointed to a position as regional sales manager (Prime Equipment) – Central Region U.S.A. in 2009. One year later, Wozniak also served as integration manager for Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Clayhill 2, a compressed air sales and service provider based in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

“John is an integral part of the Atlas Copco Compressors group,” said Mikael Andersson, acting general manager at Atlas Copco Compressors. “The wealth of industry knowledge and experience that he brings to this new role will be instrumental in guiding him as he faces new opportunities and challenges.”

Wozniak is a veteran of the compressed air industry and has worked with hundreds of plants throughout the country on a wide range of compressed air projects. He began his career as a distributor representative with The Compressed Air Company, where his roles included territory salesman, sales manager and general manager.
