Atlas Copco to Showcase New Compressors at SEMA

Products will be on display at booth No. 10309 Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Atlas Copco Compressors will showcase its new GA 7-15 VSD+ range of oil-injected rotary screw compressors at the 2013 SEMA Show, Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Atlas Copco exhibit will be located in the North Hall at booth No. 10309. The red carpet-themed booth will showcase the GA VSD+ and its innovative design that reduces energy consumption by up to 50 percent, compared to a traditional load/unload compressor of the same type, and allows for a compact footprint and low noise levels.

“We are excited to officially introduce our game-changing technology to the automotive aftermarket industry at SEMA 2013,” said Robert Eshelman, vice president and business line manager for Atlas Copco’s U.S. Industrial Air Division. “The red carpet ‘star’ of the show is our new GA VSD+ range, which can reduce by 50 percent the energy used by an auto body shop to produce compressed air, based on just one 15-horsepower machine.”

In honor of the red carpet launch of the GA VSD+, Atlas Copco will offer a limited time pricing structure tailored specifically to SEMA attendees, free MBOX Air Audits and 25 percent savings on AIRnet piping, the modular compressed air piping system that installs in one-third the time of similar iron piping configurations. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to receive a one-of-a-kind model of a GA VSD+ inspired race car.

Representatives will be available at booth No. 10309 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 5-7 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 8. Other products on display include the LS 7.5 two-stage cast iron piston compressor and GX 7 EL oil-injected rotary screw compressor with load/unload regulation.
