Audatex Launches Educational Institutions Program in Partnership with I-CAR Collision Repair Education Foundation

Audatex North America, Inc. announced the launch of the Audatex Educational Institutions Program. Under this program, Audatex will provide a comprehensive software and training package, free of charge, to vocational and technical schools in the U.S. and Canada. To qualify for this program, schools will need to complete an online "Collision Repair School Solutions" survey conducted by the I-CAR Collision Repair Education Foundation.

According to Audatex Vice President of Industry Relations Rick Tuuri, "Recently, Audatex announced the largest ever cash donation to the Collision Repair Education Foundation. Now we are launching the Audatex Educational Institutions Program to further help and support the future leaders of the collision repair industry. We are committed to developing the best tools and practices to drive excellence in this industry.

"With that in mind, Audatex has built a free program that not only includes our Audatex Estimating software with 3D Intelligent Graphics, but also provides extensive training support. Schools will be able to leverage our complete computer-based estimating training program; make 24/7 use of our online training center; gain access to a free Web portal customized for schools; and take advantage of a one-on-one consultation with an Audatex accreditation program manager to create a tailored curriculum. As an added benefit, schools will also have free access to accredited Web-based learning programs, which offer continuing education units (CEUs) and I-CAR points through the Training Alliance Program."

"With the Audatex Educational Institutions Program, technical and vocational schools will have the opportunity to work with one of the best estimating tools and training available in the industry. This supports the shared goals of the Collision Repair Education Foundation and I-CAR, with Audatex as a Training Alliance Partner," said Education Foundation Executive Director Scott Kruger. "We look forward to working with Audatex to provide tools, equipment and resources to collision repair schools and students."

The Collision Repair Education Foundation will use the survey results to track key academic performance indicators such as enrollment, placement, personnel, facilities and equipment. The survey will also be used to identify program needs for new training tools and equipment and to create metrics to measure the success of the collision education system going forward. Schools will be required to retake the survey on an annual basis in order to renew their subscription to the Audatex Educational Institutions Program.
