Autel MaxiSYS Now Offers Secure Access to FCA Networks

Autel MaxiSYS now has Secure Gateway Access to protected FCA vehicle networks through a registered and authenticated AutoAuth account.

Autel MaxiSYS now has Secure Gateway Access to protected FCA vehicle networks through a registered and authenticated AutoAuth account.

Since FCA implemented a Secure Gateway Module (SGW), much like a “firewall”, to protect vehicle networks, only licensed diagnostic tools with internet access are compliant to unlock the SGW’s tester authentication
process to perform particular diagnostic functions. Now shops have full access.

Shops can register through AutoAuth’s Internet-based portal via their tablet’s browser or their computer. The annual $50 fee covers up to six users, with an additional $2 fee for each additional users.

The next step is for the shop to register its Autel tablets on the site. Up to 100 tablets can be registered. Starting June 1, 2020, Autel will “push” the software to all North American market tablets with active software subscriptions. Users with tablets out of subscription can purchase
a Total Care Program software and warranty renewal through their authorized Autel dealer.

To register:

  • Visit https://webapp.autoauth.com/
  • Select “register now”
  • Complete “user sign-up” fields
  • Verify account via email and agreeing to the terms
  • Login with your email address or username created
