The Massachusetts and Rhode Island affiliate of the Automotive Service Association (ASAMARI) is sponsoring a seminar tonight (Feb. 28) that will focus on the repair and maintenance of advanced hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
Craig Van Batenburg of AC/DC will conduct the seminar at Slainte Restaurant in Holyoke, Mass.
The festivities begin with registration and refreshments from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the presentation will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Van Batenburg is a worldwide industry leader in the field of electric and hybrid vehicle technology and repair. The seminar is for both collision and mechanical repairers. It will provide an overview of hybrids and EVs of today and answer attendees’ questions about high-voltage battery packs.
The informative session will include information on how Tesla makes the P100D S model go from zero to 60 in 2.2 seconds.
The event is free, but donations are being accepted for local foster homes. As a gift, every attendee will get three hours of free online training from AC/DC worth $165.
