Axalta Coating Systems Celebrates One Year of Independence

Accomplishments over past year include launching logo, name and social media channels, creating IntelliMist automatic spraybooth humidifier and many more.

It has been one year since Axalta Coating Systems, formerly of DuPont, was sold and became an independent organization. In recognition of its one-year anniversary, the company has listed some of its key accomplishments over the past year:

"We had a really good year," said Nigel Budden, vice president of Axalta Coating Systems North America. "Our business is now focused on investing for growth. It’s very important that we have a strategy where everyone recognizes what’s going on and that we’re ahead of the curve.  We have a very clear strategy, we know what we’re going to do."
