Axalta Coating Systems Partners with Optima Automotive

Axalta Coating Systems, formerly DuPont Performance Coatings, has partnered with Optima Automotive to work with its customers on its overall Web presence marketing tactics.  This will include website development/design, search engine optimization, social media management, pay-per-click campaign management and reputation management.

“Mark Claypool and Optima Automotive are clear leaders in the field of Web presence management,” said Steve Trapp, collision services development manager for Axalta Coating Systems. “Building brand and bringing traffic to an effective shop website are key components to ultimately getting cars to repair. Optima has repeatedly demonstrated its expertise in this area, so we are excited to bring this resource to our shops across the nation.”

Through this partnership, Optima Automotive will hold a series of workshops and seminars to help local shops understand the importance of an effective presence online. Beginning with search engine optimization, which deals with the true science of getting a site to rank well on search engines, Optima will work closely with shops to build effective websites.

As an outsourced partner, Optima will also assist in setting up and managing Facebook, Google+, Twitter and LinkedIn for shop clients, and posting to and monitoring these accounts daily. Other services like search engine marketing (pay per click) and reputation management will be offered as well.

“I’ve had the privilege and good fortune to work with Axalta Coating Systems on various projects over the years,” said Mark Claypool, president and CEO of Optima Automotive. “My team is looking forward to working with Axalta’s customer base through its business development managers and jobber network to maximize local shop presence online.”
