Axalta Coating Systems announced its continued support to the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) as a Gold Sponsor of WIN’s 2016 Annual Educational Conference held May 2-4 in Tampa, Fla. Axalta was also a sponsor of the conference’s keynote address and the Most Influential Women Award that was presented at the WIN Gala on May 3rd.

Axalta has supported WIN since its inception in 2006. The company has a history of employees who have served on committees and, currently, Petra Schroeder, Axalta industry relations manager, serves as vice chair on the Board of Directors and is the incoming chair.

“We are pleased to show our commitment to an organization tailored to the unique role of women in the collision repair industry,” said Schroeder. “2016 is Axalta’s 150th anniversary, so we’re excited to ‘share a birthday’ with WIN and look forward to continuing to cultivate our partnership with this much-needed not-for-profit organization well into the future.”

WIN has a membership of more than 400 professionals. Its mission is to encourage, develop and cultivate opportunities to attract women to the collision repair industry and to provide a unique setting to network, share perspectives, challenges and ideas.
