Axalta Employees to Celebrate GM Supplier of the Year Award at Plant-Wide Event

Axalta Coating Systems announced it will host an event on June 19th at its Mt. Clemens (Michigan) manufacturing plant to celebrate receiving the General Motors (GM) Supplier of the Year award.

In March, GM recognized 78 of its best global suppliers during its 23rd annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony in Detroit. Winning suppliers from around the world received the award for going above and beyond GM’s requirements.

Axalta company executives and community leaders will make presentations at the event. Axalta employees will feature GM vehicles from their personal collections during a company car show. In addition, the Frank Beckmann Show on WJR AM-760 will air a special live broadcast from the celebration. Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel will be the show’s guest host. The show will air from 9 a.m. to noon during the celebration, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
