Axalta Coating Systems announced it will exhibit at the SEMA show Nov. 1-4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The SEMA show is regarded as the premier automotive and specialty products event worldwide. Axalta will offer live product and skill demonstrations, introduce new custom colors, and reveal an iconic classic car restoration within Axalta’s over 5,200 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space.

Themed “Engineered for Speed,” Axalta’s outdoor space (booth no. 61009) features a fully-functional Global Finishing Solutions paint booth with infrared technology that allows visitors to experience the speed of Axalta’s highly-productive, wet-on-wet waterborne technology. On Nov. 1st from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Axalta will showcase a custom truck paint demonstration by Velocity Network’s “All Girls Garage,” Rachel DeBarros and BMI Racing driver, Sara Burgess. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view pinstriping demonstrations and a collection of classic, restored and custom vehicles. From 12 to 5 p.m., the booth will feature a pedal car shootout.

“Our goal is to provide an engaging exhibit where visitors can truly experience the products and innovation that Axalta offers,” said Mike Carr, Axalta president – North America. “From the application of our products during live demos, to the end result reflected on beautiful restorations and dozens of vehicles on display finished with our products, the exceptional quality and performance of Axalta brands will be proudly featured for visitors to see and enjoy.”

Axalta will host two press conferences at its outdoor space. On Nov. 1st at 3:50 p.m., TV Host and NASCAR Champion Crew Chief Ray Evernham will unveil his restored 1958 Impala from the iconic movie “American Graffiti.” Cast member Candy Clark will join Axalta to unveil the car and mingle with guests. On Nov. 2nd at 3:30 p.m., design and build sensations and stars of the NBCSN hit show “Mobsteel” will reveal the Axalta Artist Signature Series – Cromax Mobsteel Midnight CFX Candy Colors, a vibrant collection of custom colors designed by the Mobsteel crew and Axalta color designers.

Axalta will feature its Builders Showcase in booth no. 22391 inside Central Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where guests can meet builders and owners and discover the inspiration and execution behind each extraordinary vehicle.
