BMW AG has renewed its approval for 2016 of Spies Hecker and Standox – two of the global premium refinish brands of Axalta Coating Systems. The agreements with the two brands include use of Spies Hecker and Standox refinish technologies, including comprehensive technical body shop support and targeted training, across BMW AG’s service network in 39 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific.
“Our refinish paint technologies and services have once again passed the stringent tests that are a standard part of the intensive BMW renewal process,” said Jürgen Knorr, director, Key Accounts, Refinish Systems in Axalta’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
In addition to supplying BMW AG dealerships with refinish paint systems, Spies Hecker and Standox also provide practical training and local support under the terms of the contract. The two premium global refinish brands offer workshops, comprehensive expert advice and hands-on application tips to help BMW AG body shops maximize efficiency.
“At Axalta, we innovate with our customers in mind,” said Knorr. “This drives us to provide products and services that support our customers at every step of the repair process, whether that’s with increased efficiency, energy savings or cutting-edge digital color tools. Our long-standing relationship with BMW AG, which has spanned more than 20 years, reflects our commitment to focus on providing the best possible products for our customers.”
