Babcox Media Names Randy Loeser Publisher of Tire Review

Loeser brings more than 10 years of business-to-business publishing experience and will oversee day-to-day management of brand.

Babcox Media Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Loeser to the position of publisher of Tire Review, one of the longest-running business-to-business publications in the U.S. and Babcox’s first media property. As publisher, Loeser will oversee the day-to-day management of the Tire Review brand, including advertising sales for the brand’s print and digital properties.

"Tire Review has had only nine publishers in its 114-year history, two of whom were named Babcox," said Bill Babcox, President of Babcox Media. "My grandfather, Edward Babcox, and my father, Tom Babcox, both led the magazine during exciting times in the tire industry. Randy joins us now at a time of great momentum and opportunity for tire dealers. We’re confident that the energy, excitement and ideas Randy brings will be key not only to maintaining Tire Review’s clear leadership position in the market, but also to the continued growth of Babcox Media."

Loeser comes to Babcox Media from LINQ2 Communications, where he served as vice president of sales and operations since 2010. Bringing more than a decade of business-to-business publishing experience to his new role at Babcox, Loeser has also worked for several national B2B publishers in a variety of roles, including publisher, director of business development, marketing director and Internet products manager.

"While my professional background is based in media and communications, I grew up learning from my father, a lifelong automotive technician, so I’m equally as comfortable in the aftermarket world as well," said Loeser. "I’m looking forward to utilizing both my professional and personal experiences in my new role as publisher of Tire Review. It’s truly an honor to lead such a highly regarded brand."

Loeser is a graduate of John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He can be reached at [email protected] or 330-670-1234, ext. 285.
