BASF will reveal a restyled vehicle, host celebrity autograph sessions and present the latest car color technology from its Glasurit, R-M and Carizzma Colors paint lines at Booth 21441 at the 2013 SEMA Show, Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
A restyled 2013 Scion FR-S from Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs will be unveiled on Nov. 5 at 2:30 p.m. The vehicle will feature BASF’s new ONYX HD Low VOC Productive System, which produces low-VOC basecoats that can be formulated as either waterborne or solventborne the first system on the market to provide such options.
Friedlinghaus will attend the unveiling and will be available for autographs. He will also be in the BASF booth Friday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. for a second autograph session.
BASF will also display other restyled vehicles, including:
- A 1932 Muroc “Magnatude” Roadster from Chip Foose of Foose Designs painted using Glasurit 90-Line Butterscotch Pearl with Champagne metallic
- A 1969 Talledega Torino GPT Special from Troy Trepanier of Rad Rides by Troy painted using Glasurit 90-Line Tennessee Whisky Gold gloss and Daytona Sand satin
- A 1967 Camaro from Ultimate Auto featuring Ruthless Red from Carizzma Colors
Racing legend Richard Petty will also host an autograph session at the BASF booth, as will Foose, Trepanier and the Ringbrothers. Live online chats will also take place.
