CAPA has announced the election of Bill DeGrocco of GEICO Insurance to its Board of Directors.
DeGrocco began his career as an auto mechanic in 1971 and started with GEICO, one of the original founders of CAPA 25 years ago, in 1974. During his long tenure at GEICO, he has held various auto damage technical field positions including the appraisal and adjustment of automobile physical damage claims. DeGrocco currently holds the position of assistant vice president of auto damage and is responsible for GEICO’s auto damage policy, training, audit and appraisals countrywide.
“Bill brings an extraordinary amount of ‘hands-on’ knowledge as well as management expertise to CAPA’s Board," said CAPA Executive Director Jack Gillis. "We’re excited to have Bill join CAPA’s efforts as we enter our second quarter century of protecting both the market and consumers from poor quality parts.”
