At NACE, Weber grills were given away to three visitors to the Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes booth featuring the HP Process Refinish System with Air-Dry Technology in daily prize drawings during the November show.
Michael Duran of Newport Beach, Calif., Steve Saunders of Wildomar, Calif., and Andrew Potter (North Amherst Motors) of Hadley, Mass., each won one of three grills from Sherwin-Williams.
The contest drew hundreds of entries from NACE show visitors and promoted the HP Process Refinish System (higher productivity, higher performance and higher profits), along with its proprietary Air-Dry technology that removes the need for natural gas and spray booth baking, Sherwin-Williams says. The HP Process Refinish System achieves a fast cure time at ambient (70-75°F) room temperatures and allows for same-day repairs. The company says its HPC15 Clearcoat can achieve a 15-minute cure that can then be sanded and polished.
“We’re extremely pleased with the response and interest in our ‘Fire Up for NACE’ promotion this year,” said Brian Shenk, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes director of Marketing Services. “The traffic-building element and chance to win a great Weber grill really emphasized using natural gas for your backyard barbeque instead of your spray booth, all thanks to the HP Process.”
Shenk added, “This helped us support numerous lean initiatives displayed throughout the show while being a great way to emphasize our new production system that benefits the environment by reducing a shop’s carbon footprint and also impacts the bottom line by lowering energy costs and helping paint more cars, faster.”
