Caliber Collision Centers Continues Expansion Across Greater Los Angeles Area

New facility is 8th to open in Greater Los Angeles in 2012 and 16th overall.

Caliber Collision Centers recently announced it has acquired 20,000-square-foot Crown Auto Body (part of the Crown Dodge dealership group) in Ventura, Calif., and reopened the location as Caliber Ventura.

The shop is the 8th Caliber facility to open in the Greater Los Angeles area in 2012, and the 16th overall.

“We continue to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions across the southwest,” said Steve Grimshaw, Caliber Collision Centers’ chief executive officer. “Our Ventura opening creates additional Los Angeles area capacity as we provide our insurance clients the customer focus, operational consistency and cost management they require in today’s competitive insurance market.”

Added Mark Sanders, chief operating officer for Caliber Collision Centers, “Our new Ventura center provides another example of our continued expansion in 2012 as we continue to grow into the collision repair provider of choice across California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.”
