California-Based MSO Donates $10,000 to Collision Repair Education Foundation

Seidner's Collision Centers makes donation to support auto body repair programs across the country.

Seidner’s Collision Centers, a California-based multi-shop operator, has donated $10,000 to the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

“It is important that we as an industry continue to support this worthy cause every year,” said Steve Seidner, vice president of Seidner’s Collision Centers. “Finding technicians is difficult in today’s market and will become even more challenging as vehicles become more advanced. I would like to challenge the entire collision industry to step up and assist the Collision Repair Education Foundation so they can continue to recruit and help educate our future technicians.

"The Education Foundation has the ability to reach students that we can’t as individuals, therefore promoting the many opportunities within the collision industry. As we all know, most students aren’t thinking about the collision repair industry as a profession, and the Education Foundation can help get our message out in the right places.”

Added Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski, “I would like to thank Seidner’s Collision Centers for their generous donation and would encourage other repair facilities to follow their lead in donating in supporting the Collision Repair Education Foundation. It is only through the industry support that we can take a more active role in ensuring that students graduating from high school and college collision school programs are productive and efficient entry-level staff for the industry. Industry support can help provide these programs with needed tools, equipment, supplies, instructor training and much more. Seidner’s stepping up to make this donation is a great example of how the industry can help support its future through the Education Foundation.”
