California Repair Shop Owner Wins 2008 F-150 Foose Edition Truck

Chris Weissensee of Sacramento, Calif., was one of 10 finalists in the 2007 Ford Customer Service Division “When It Fits You Win!” national sweepstakes. It became his lucky day when his key started the grand prize vehicle, a 2008 F-150 Foose Edition Truck, at Homestead-Miami Speedway this past November.

Weissensee’s luck becomes a reality at 10:30 a.m. on June 26 when he receives the keys to his new Foose at Downtown Ford in Sacramento. The 2008 Ford F-150 Foose Edition was designed by Chip Foose, star of TV’s "Overhaulin".

Weissensee owns an auto repair shop in Sacramento. The new 2008 Foose will replace his GMC Yukon.

“I can’t wait to drive it and see how fast it is,” said Weissensee.

This year’s national sweepstakes, the “2008 Summer of Savings”, is held exclusively for auto repair and body shop owners around the country. Independent auto repair and auto shops can download rebates electronically and learn more about the sweepstakes at www.2008summerofsavings.com.

Prizes include one of five trips for two to the Ford 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race during Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway November 14-16, 2008; or one of 21 trips for two to the Wood Brothers Racing facility in Charlotte, N.C.

“This year’s program offers increased value on Genuine Ford and Motorcraft parts,” said Dan Bielik, Ford Customer Service Division wholesale communications and training manager. “The 2008 Summer of Savings offers over $1,500 in rebate savings for every participating business. Eligible businesses that submit valid rebate offers are automatically entered for a chance to win exciting prizes during each promotional period.”
