California Shop Auto Collision Solutions Becomes Fix Auto Franchise

Riverside, Calif.-based Auto Collision Solutions is one of 34 collision repair businesses to join the Fix Auto franchise network in January 2011.

Auto Collision Solutions was founded in 2005 when Maureen Holmes and her son, Aaron purchased the assets of five defunct collision repair centers. Since purchasing the Riverside location, the pair has implemented a variety of upgrades to facilities, systems and software, resulting in improved service and repair quality.

Current industry trends played a significant role in Maureen’s decision to franchise with Fix Auto, she said.

“Insurance companies drive change in our industry,” she said. “In evolving from claims management to procurement, they are looking for a single-point-of-contact. As a result, organizations like Fix Auto are more attractive and better-equipped to work with national carriers.”

Globally, there are over 250 Fix Auto locations, with 22 franchises in Southern California alone. The performance-based organization provides Maureen and Aaron a variety of tools to help measure and monitor customer satisfaction and a lifetime warranty they can offer to customers that is honored at any Fix Auto location throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and France. In addition, Holmes and other owners within her network are provided an opportunity to share best business practices and pool marketing expenses, according to Fix Auto.

“In making this change, it was important to me that we remained the business our customers know and trust,” added Holmes. “We’ve been able to do that, while at the same time realizing the significant benefits of belonging to a larger group operating as a single entity. I’m convinced Fix Auto will help our business become even better.”

Maureen Holmes is a recognized leader in the collision repair industry. Her passion and commitment to the profession is reflected in her tireless work on industry panels and advisory boards over the years. She served as the first female president of the California Auto Body Association in the early 1980s.

Fix Auto Riverside, currently co-branded as Auto Collision Solutions, is located at 11740 Sterling Ave., Riverside, Calif.
