Car Crash Victim Says Her Insurance Company Approved “Dangerous Repairs”

A Florida news station takes on a recurring issue once again: Insurance companies accused of steering car crash victims to their preferred shops.

ABC Action News WFTS in Tampa Bay, Fla., reported that a Lakeland car crash victim says she trusted her insurance company to steer her to a quality repair shop. But now the victim, Sheila New, says she’s scared to even get behind the wheel of her car.
