CARSTAR 106th in Franchise Times’ Top 200 Ranking

Move up the list from 112th in 2014 and 117th in 2013 is due in part, CARSTAR says, to increases in both sales and unit growth.

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts has once again earned a spot in Franchise Times’ annual Top 200 ranking of the largest franchise systems in North America. CARSTAR is now ranked 106th on the list, compared to a ranking of 112th in 2014 and 117th in 2013. The move up was due in part to increases in both sales and unit growth.

CARSTAR announced that it finished the first half of 2015 with revenue of $386.2 million, which puts it on track to outpace its performance in 2014.

This year, CARSTAR is seeing year-to-date same store sales increases for the U.S. of 8.3 percent. According to CARSTAR, this leads the collision repair industry among all other companies, which deliver an average of four percent increases in same store sales. In addition, CARSTAR is expanding its insurance relationships, securing MSO programs with several of the top insurance carriers.

CARSTAR was also ranked the top collision repair franchise and was fifth on the list of top automotive franchises – up from seventh last year.

The Franchise Times’ Top 200 is an annual ranking of the 200 largest franchise systems in the U.S. by global system-wide sales, based on the previous year’s performance.
