CARSTAR will be holding its third annual Soaps It Up! Car Wash on June 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. that will benefit Make-A-Wish kids and children with cystic fibrosis across North America.
Themed “Wash for a Wish,” the event will take place at more than 140 locations across the U.S. and Canada as part of North America’s largest car wash event. In 2009, CARSTAR set the Guinness World Record by washing more than 4,000 vehicles during an eight-hour period at all of the participating locations. For 2011, they’ll be attempting to break their own record and set a new milestone.
CARSTAR Collision Care of Milford, Conn., owned locally and managed by Keith Foster, will be the national host for the record-breaking event along with local media personalities and a special Make-A-Wish Foundation guest. Local scouting troops, charity volunteers and CARSTAR staff will be on hand to wash the vehicles.
