CARSTAR National Conference Slated for Denver

CARSTAR will celebrate its 20th anniversary at the 2009 CARSTAR National Conference, Sept. 19-22, in Denver.

Most of the franchisees of the nation’s largest collision repair company are expected to attend the annual event, where they will have the opportunity to meet with CARSTAR’s senior leadership on the business operations and plans for the future, work with other store owners on key issues, attend educational sessions and participate in the annual awards celebration.

The CARSTAR conference schedule features classes on I-CAR training, estimating, new repair technology, insurance marketing and relations, store productivity, employee training and management, store expansion, consumer marketing and public relations, financial management and more. Some classes are presented by CARSTAR partners such as Hertz, 3M, I-CAR and Mitchell.

The CARSTAR awards ceremony will be held on Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. The general session led by Dick Cross, CEO, and Dan Bailey, president, will be held on Sept. 20 at 8 a.m. Classes will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. each day of the conference. A special "Meet the Press" luncheon will be held with Cross and Bailey on Sept. 22 at noon. The closing event will be held Sept. 22 at 6 p.m.

"We’re excited about kicking off our next decade of success with the CARSTAR Nation," said Dick Cross, chairman and CEO of CARSTAR Collision Centers. "It’s an honor to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the company with all of our franchisees and to have a chance to personally thank them for their many contributions over the years in building the CARSTAR brand. We have a great year ahead of us in 2010, and we’re looking forward to hearing from all of the franchisees how we can make it successful for each and every one of them."

Attendees also will have the opportunity to participate in the "CARSTAR Golf Extra-Ordinare!" golf tournament on Sept. 20 at the Arrowhead Golf Course. Conference attendees also will be able to join in walking tours, fly fishing, cooking classes and golf lessons. The conference will wrap up with a Wild West Rodeo.

The event will be held at the Sheraton Downtown Hotel. Registration for the 2009 CARSTAR National Conference is now open. Regular event pricing starts at $795 per person. Franchisees can register at www.carstar.com through the Franchisee Login area.
