CARSTAR Shop Receives Better Business Bureau ‘Integrity Award’

Glenn’s CARSTAR in Lincoln, Neb., received a Better Business Bureau (BBB) “Integrity Award” at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 8 for upholding the highest standard of business ethics.

“The BBB Integrity Award Winners have shown that ethics and integrity are core values of their organization,” said Jim Hegarty, president and CEO of the BBB. “The 2014 BBB Integrity Award Winners join an elite group of organizations that realize dealing fairly and honestly with employees, customers and partners is central to profitability and growth. They serve as role models for the business community in Lincoln, and the Better Business Bureau Foundation is pleased to honor them with this prestigious award.”

Glenn’s CARSTAR was one of six businesses in Lincoln to receive the award. The family-owned body shop won for the category of businesses with 10 to 49 employees.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award for the business my father started almost 50 years ago,” said Allan Hillhouse of Glenn’s CARSTAR. “It is a great honor for our body shop to be recognized by the BBB as a company that deals with our customers, insurance partners, employees and vendors in an ethical manner.”

Glenn’s CARSTAR auto body repair was founded in 1964. Owner Glenn Hillhouse is now retired but the second generation of the Hillhouse family staffs the front office.
