CARSTAR Shops Around the Country Donate Vehicles to Needy Families

Nineteen Cars rebuilt and given away through NABC Recycled Rides program.

CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts announced that 19 of its stores throughout the country have either already given away, or are registered to give away, vehicles through the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides program.

Recycled Rides is a nationwide community service project whereby members of the NABC repair and donate recycled vehicles to families and service organizations in need in their own communities. Recycled Rides recruits collision repairers, insurers, paint suppliers, parts vendors and others to contribute in their own ways. The number of CARSTAR stores that participate in the program has grown steadily since it began.

“All of the participating shops put a lot of time, effort, and heart into going the extra mile when they repair and rebuild these cars,” said Dan Young, SVP, Insurance Relations for CARSTAR who also sits on the NABC Board of Directors and is chairman of the Distracted Driving Committee. “CARSTAR is proud to have such a wonderful and charitable group of owners as part of our network.”
