CARSTAR’s Super’Stang, a rebuilt 1967 Mustang touring the country to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, will be featured at the Ohio Expo Center on July 11 through 13, joining more than 6,000 hot rods at the 11th Goodguys PPG Nationals.
The Goodguys PPG Nationals features hot rods, customs, muscle cars and trucks from 1972 and earlier, along with the annual Friday Night Drags at National Trail Raceway on Friday beginning at 2 p.m.
“We’ve worked really hard on making this event happen,” said Bob Haner, president of ColorMagic CARSTAR and chairman of the Columbus CARSTAR Business Group. “We hope to get many car enthusiasts to come out and raise a lot of money for the local Make-A-Wish Foundation.”
The CARSTAR Super’Stang, created by CARSTAR and one of the country’s leading restorers of Mustangs, Jeff Yergovich, will be sold at auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., in January 2009 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The tour has already collected more than $180,000 in donations and traveled more than 35,000 miles.
