Local television station WRGB CBS 6 out of Albany recently aired a report featuring Ed Kizenberger, executive director of the New York State Auto Collision Technician’s Association/Long Island Auto Body Repairmen’s Association, speaking out against steering.
Also featured in the report is Tony Mancini, owner of Mancini’s Auto Body, who says that 50 percent of his business is fixing what DRP shops didn’t.
The report states that DRP shops have so many vehicles to fix in so little time that they often race through the repairs. It also cites a J.D. Power and Associates report that proves faster isn’t always better Progressive ranked first in fastest repairs but second last in getting repairs right.
