CCC Information Services Inc. announced that it has named Pervinder Johar as its chief technology officer. He is responsible for CCC’s technology strategy, product research and development, information technology and data center operations. Johar most recently served as vice president of Global IT at Hewlett Packard, where he led global HP supply chain transformation efforts with a focus on process and systems standardization.
“Pervinder brings significant depth and range of technology experience to the organization and is known as a strategic business leader who is successful in creating significant new product and technology wins,” said CCC Chairman and CEO Githesh Ramamurthy. “This is critical to the company and its position as a leader in the development of mobility and cloud-based business applications, including next-generation claims capabilities for insurance carriers and enterprise resource planning (ERP) for collision repair facilities.”
Johar was executive vice president of Global R&D and chief technology officer for Manhattan Associates prior to his position at HP, where he led the development of market leading supply chain software solutions. Prior to that, he served as chief technology officer and senior vice president of Product and Development for Politzer & Haney, and vice president of Financial Transaction Management Development for State Street Corporation.
Johar’s focus has been leading business and IT transformation efforts for financial services, retail and high-tech industries. Some of his pioneering work includes development of Global Straight Through Processing (GSTP) systems at State Street Bank, the development of asset allocation and financial planning products at Fidelity Investments, and the development of end-to-end logistics platforms for some of the world’s largest retailers.

Johar received his B.S. in Computer Engineering from IIT in India, a M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova, and an MBA from Boston University.
