CCC ONE Adds Procedure Data for 2015 Ford F-150

CCC ONE Repair Methods Adds Procedure Data for 2015 Ford F-150

First estimating solution to provide integrated access to the specialized procedure data needed to repair the radically redesigned F-150.

CCC Information Services announced that its CCC ONE Repair Methods now includes repair procedure data for the 2015 Ford F-150.

“Ford’s use of lightweight aluminum throughout the body and bed of its top-selling Ford F-150 received a lot of attention and generated important conversations about repairability throughout the industry,” said Mark Fincher, vice president, Market Solutions, CCC Information Services. “We’ve seen more than 400 2015 F-150 estimates in the three short months since it debuted. Part price and labor time data have been available to estimators, but getting the repair procedure data into the hands of customers was a top priority. We’re excited that data is now live in CCC ONE.”

CCC ONE Repair Methods provides access to repair procedure information for thousands of vehicle types, helping repairers and insurers complete thorough, accurate estimates. Because users don’t need to leave the estimating screen to get the repair data they seek, the information gets utilized quickly and efficiently, says CCC Information Services.

The latest "Who Pays for What?" survey from Collision Advice and CRASH Network indicates that more than three in five shops (61%) say they're researching automaker repair procedures on “all” or “most” of the vehicles they repair, a nine percentage point gain since 2020.

“It’s still not a high enough percentage, because this must be done every time, but at least awareness of this vital step is increasing,” said Mike Anderson of Collision Advice, who conducts the quarterly surveys with CRASH Network. “OEM information is complex, and can change. I recently wrote an estimate on three of the same year and model of vehicles, but the alignment procedures and battery disconnect procedures were different based on trim levels and engine types.”
