The CEI Group, Inc. (CEI), a provider of accident management and direct repair services, announced it has integrated its data system with CCC Information Services’ CCC One estimating platform.

The action makes it possible for repair assignments to be handled directly in the estimating system of CEI’s managed network of independently owned collision repair shops. CCE One is used by more than 17,000 repair shops in North America, and enables them to write collision repair estimates easily, fast and with accuracy.

“Integration with CCC has increased the efficiency of both our repair shop partners and CEI’s estimate auditing procedure,” said Robert Glose, CEI’s senior director of operations. “For us, a key benefit is access to CCC’s EMS advanced analytics, which has enhanced our ability to document the savings we achieve for our customers.”

CEI’s quality control department scrubs every repair estimate it receives for potential savings on parts and labor for repairs on vehicles operated by automotive fleets and property and casualty customers.  CCC One’s database includes prices for parts on more than 1,000 vehicles, including prices for OEM, aftermarket and used parts.
