ChemSpec Named Official Paint Supplier of Factory Five Racing

ChemSpec USA announced it has been named the "Official Paint Supplier" for Factory Five Racing this June at the recent unveiling of the new Factory Five GTM Supercar along with the naming of Carl’s Collision as the official painter. This event was held at the headquarters of the world’s largest component kit car manufacturer, Factory Five Racing in Wareham, Mass. This award winning car company works with many partners, but rarely makes such an affiliation official.

The vehicle pictured Factory Five’s next generation GTM Supercar, painted by Carl’s with Metalux High Performance Automotive Refinish products by ChemSpec USA. The color selection process took some time, as the color team worked on developing the ideal custom color to highlight the lines of the GTM Supercar. Once they achieved the ideal shade of yellow, they worked on utilizing special effect pearls and metallics in order to achieve the desired end result.

Literally, every single person at Carl’s Collision had something to do with this car, following the philosophy of a unified team work approach that Carl Garcia, owner, embraces.

President of Factory Five Dave Smith said, "All of our hard work (on the design/engineering side) would have been a waste if the car didn’t outshine world class Supercars, and that’s where the team at Carl’s Collision and ChemSpec USA came in, delivering looks that will light people’s hair on fire, and for sure back up the car’s stellar performance," said Smith. "I’m pleased to announce today that we are naming Carl’s Collision Center of Fall River, Mass., and ChemSpec USA the official painter and paint of Factory Five Racing."

"ChemSpec USA makes exceptional products so to be able to paint such Supercars is a real honor given all the choices this award winning company has to choose from," said Ron Snow, national sales manager for ChemSpec USA. "As a World Class Paint Supplier, we are pleased to partner with not only Factory Five, but also with the Master Painters at Carl’s Collision Center."
